We are proud to announce the launch of the Chambersburg Distinguished Alumni Society, a new program created to recognize and celebrate outstanding graduates of the Chambersburg Area School District (CASD) who have made significant contributions in their professions, communities, and beyond.

Chambersburg’s Distinguished Alumni Society will honor CASD alumni who exemplify excellence, leadership, service, and integrity. Through this initiative, CAEF aims to highlight the impact of a Chambersburg education and to inspire current students by showcasing role models who once walked the same hallways.

Eligibility & Selection

To be eligible for consideration, nominees must meet the following criteria:

• Be a graduate of Chambersburg Area School District or have attended a CASD School for a significant period 

• Have demonstrated significant achievement in one or more of the following areas:

• Professional or career accomplishments

• Service to community, state, nation, or the world

• Leadership in civic, educational, charitable, or religious organizations

• Contributions to the arts, sciences, public service, business, education, or other fields

A volunteer Selection Committee convened by CAEF will review nominations and recommend honorees each year based on the nominee’s impact, character, and connection to CASD. Roger Coleman, retired CASD educator and coach, will lead the Committee.

Recognition & Induction

Selected honorees will be formally inducted into Chambersburg’s Distinguished Alumni Society at CAEF’s Celebration of Excellence in May. Their names and accomplishments will be preserved as part of a growing record of CASD alumni achievement.
